Meet Jim "Zig" Ziegler

Jim is a native Tulsan, born in Tulsa in 1957. He attended East Central High School and went on to college at Oklahoma State University where he studied marketing & marketing management.

Jim has been married to wife Christie for 20 years. They have three daughters, Nema 19, Julie 18 and Jamie 16. They reside in Broken Arrow.

Jim joined The Music Store staff in 1996 as an inside salesman. Zig has played guitar, bass and harmonica since he was in grade school and currently sings and fronts his own long standing band "The Zigs". Zig loves all styles of music and has recordings out under "The Zigs", "The Notions", "Green Country 95" and Dwight Twilley's "Tulsa" CD that have all been praised in local & national press.

Zig won two SPOT (Tulsa's local version of a Grammy) Awards for his work with Steve Pryor as "Best Blues Act" and with Dwight Twilly for "Best National Album." Zig has appeared with many name acts like George Strait, Cindy Lauper, James Harmon, Mitch Ryder, Three Dog Night, Merle Haggard, Phil Seymour and many others. Zig is currently playing with the Scott Ellison blues band. The Music Store is proud to have Jim as a part of our musical family.
