The Yamaha DTX560K Electronic Drum Set is the top of the DTX500 line. Built around the DTX500 Drum Trigger Module and with the addition of the DTX-PAD snare and tom pads with Textured Cellular Silicone drumhead technology, the Yamaha DTX560K drum set provides an extremely realistic, acoustic drum feel for the most natural and comfortable playing experience.

This kit has all the benefits of the DTX500 module including Yamaha drum samples, play-along songs, and comprehensive groove tools. The DTX-PAD snare provides superior stick feel and allows head, rimshot, and cross-stick voices in each of the three zones for realistic expression. The DTX560SP includes a pad set (DTP700P), drum trigger module (DTX500) and rack system (RS500). Because this configuration does not include cymbals or hi-hat it is perfect when adding electronics to your acoustic kit.


The Yamaha DTX500 Drum Module contains 427 drum, percussion and effects sounds. There are 50 preset kits at the ready, covering virtually every genre and there are 20 User kits in which you can create and store your own kits.

There are also 63 preset songs from all genres and 20 user song locations to create your own. "Groove-Check" and "Rhythm-Gate" features help you to better enjoy practicing and to develop your timing.

The DTX500 Drum Module also includes a AUX IN jack that allows you to connect an MP3 player or similar device for playing along with your own music, a recording function for capturing your performances, on-board high-quality digital reverb effects, MIDI OUT for controlling external gear or linking to computer software and 12 trigger inputs that are compatible with a wide range of pads and triggers.

The XP80 snare pad is an 8", 3-zone pad and the toms are the XP70 - 7" pads, all of these built with the Textured Cellular Silicone acoustic drum feel playing surface. The DTX560K also features REAL hi-hat performance by putting the 13" RHH135 Hi-Hat Pad on a Yamaha hi-hat stand, included with the kit. The cymbals are two large PCY135 13", 3-zone choke-able cymbal pads.

Please note the kick pedal is not included.
