The result is a look and sound you’d always dreamt of.  DW’s dynamic range of hand-selected tone woods as well as the ever so popular and truthful setup of the Specialized Shell Configuration (SSC) This drumset is the foundation in which you build your absolute unique sound.

• Woods:  DW offers the finest hand-selected woods for drummaking from around the globe.
• Specialized Shell Configuration (SSC):  DW layers plies cut to different grain orientations—horizontal, vertical, and diagonal (X-shell)—to lower the fundamental pitch of shells, maximize resonance, and produce a complete instrument.
• Finishes:  From FinishPly™ to hand-sprayed lacquer or satin oil, all DW kits can be customized with finishes to make it yours.
• Shell Sizes:  Sizing helps players emphasize or control tonal qualities, while providing a visual aesthetic for musical genres.

Sizing helps ALL players emphasize, control, or try something COMPLETELY crazy and new tonal qualities.  This also helps even further with the overall “speaking terms”, as well as  providing a real life visual aesthetic for ALL musical genres.  This means Toms can start as low as 6” x 5” all the way up to 18” x 18”!  Kicks can start as low as 16” x 12” and grow up to 28” x 20”!  Snare drums can be as low as 10” x 3.1” and even up to 16” x 10”!  Honestly it is an amazing, awesome, and truly Absolute as there is even building sizes for Rata Toms, Woofers, Gong Drums, and Pancakes!  No not the food, that is up to YOU to cook those, this is for Pancake Drums!
