The Music Store offers private, professional instruction for Guitar, Bass, Drums, Clarinet, Banjo, Steel Guitar, Mandolin, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, & Tuba. All lessons are self-paced, and are done in private studios at The Music Store (9120C E. 31st. Tulsa, OK. 74145).
Scheduling:
Lesson times are available in weekly half-hour appointments. Appointment times are available Monday though Saturday during store hours and may vary depending on the instructors and their personal schedules. Lesson times are scheduled directly through the instructors, not through the store.
Rates:
The price of lessons is $90.00 per month or $25.00 per lesson at half hour appointments each. A full month's payments are to be made in advance directly to the instructor (not the store). If a student must miss a lesson, it is the student's (or parent's) responsibility to give the instructor (not the store) proper notification, and then that lesson could be made up at the instructor's convenience. If not properly notified of a missed lesson, that lesson is forfeited.
Instruments:
Students are required to furnish their own instrument (except drums & amplifiers for electric instruments) to be used during the lesson. Instruments are available to buy (best price) or rent by the month from The Music Store (including acoustic guitar and electric guitar & bass packages and drum sets). Check with store for details.
Practice:
Students are expected to practice on their own time in order to be prepared from one lesson to the next. The amount of necessary practice time between weekly lessons may vary from one lesson to the next depending on the assignment, and depending on the student.
